Of the four service components depicted in the WebSphere Process Server Architecture, business processes, the core component, was covered in Chapter 6, “Business Processes,” and business rules were discussed in Chapter 7, “Business Maps and Business Rules.” The other two—business state machines and human tasks—are covered in this chapter.
