CHAPTER FOUR Step-by-Step Process
In this chapter, I am going to show you step-by-step how to create a full colour drawing from start to finish using a reference photo I took of St Paul’s Cathedral in London (FIGURES 4.1 and 4.2). It’s a place I have visited and drawn many times and I’m still in awe of the size and beauty of the magnificent structure. The cathedral was designed by the highly acclaimed English architect Sir Christopher Wren and construction took place between 1675 and 1711. The dome dominates the London landscape and is still one of the highest in the world.
