CHAPTER 5 Black-and-White Sketch
For this project, we are going to create a drawing in black and white using just a black 0.05mm fineliner pen on white paper. Pure pen-and-ink drawings can look stunning left as monochrome, and they are a lot of fun to do without having to think about colour. We’ll create the various tones and shadows within the subject using varying densities of crosshatching, marks, and lines, all with black ink.
