Chapters 4 through 6 continue the discussion of EVM usage, standards, and the service market, but are now based on the survey study. Chapter 3 was intended to describe the big picture based on verifiable, published sources. However, a complete coverage by literature review is not practical, if not impossible, due to a combination of factors, including the resource limitation of this study, difficulty in accessing certain publications because of confidentiality, and limited documented evidence in many industry sectors and countries.
