Saving the Wave File

In Sound Recorder, click File, Save As.

Give your file a new name, such as First Sound File.

Note the File Format (.wav) in the Files of Type drop-down list.

Click Save to save the file to a location you will remember.

As with any computer file, the

power comes with saving the file

with its own name, to reuse or

perhaps edit it at a later time.

Don’t forget to always remember

where you saved your files.

To easily locate your new sound

file, save it to the desktop.
