I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preface
The fifth edition, like its predecessors, is intended primarily for non-specialist users or students of electric motors and drives, but we are pleased to have learned that many researchers and specialist industrialists have also acknowledged the value of the book in providing a clear understanding of the fundamentals of the subject.
Our aim is to bridge the gap between specialist textbooks (which are pitched at a level which is too academic/analytical for the average user) and the more prosaic handbooks which are full of detailed information but provide little opportunity for the development of any real insight.
