Overview of the ESA Command-Line Interface

AsyncOS provides a complete command-line interface (CLI) in addition to the web user interface (WUI). The CLI can be used for configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. It is the only means by which certain advanced features, like static aliases, can be configured.
