For the remainder of this book, we will be looking in detail at how a real-time operating system (RTOS) is implemented and deployed. To do that, we will work with a specific RTOS: Nucleus SE. Even if you have no intention of using this kernel, or others related to it, understanding how it works will give you a good basis for getting to grips with any RTOS.
