So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preface
This report covers six languages that appeared during the 2010 decade and are attracting a lot of positive attention. It is intended to summarize the reasons they were developed and why they appeal to programmers.
The audience is anyone with some programming background or who has reached a comfort level with the concepts in classic programming, such as objects and data types.
Conventions Used in This Book
The following typographical conventions are used in this book:

Indicates new terms, URLs, email addresses, filenames, and file extensions.
Constant width-
Used for program listings, as well as within paragraphs to refer to program elements such as variable or function names, databases, data types, environment variables, statements, and keywords.
