So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Section 4Developing Your Application Statements
The optimization algorithm is important, but more relevant to the optimizer answer are developing the appropriate and complete statements about the objective function and constraints and choosing fitting criteria for convergence. Further, understanding how to assess and improve the probability of finding the global is critical. And understanding how uncertainty in the givens affect the uncertainty of the optimum and how to optimize within uncertainty is essential. This section contains 11 chapters related to those topics.
