Colin O’Flynn is an embedded engineer who started the ChipWhisperer project, which is a wide-ranging project designed to help academics and engineers understand side-channel and fault injection attacks. O’Flynn is currently an assistant professor at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, and he also remains involved with the company he founded based on the Chip-Whisperer project (NewAE Technology, Inc.) that offers commercial hardware tools for embedded security work.
