System Capability Comparison and Composition

Abstract

This chapter examines capability comparison and composition. Capability comparison checks whether two pairs of capability descriptions are equivalent. Capability composition composes capability units to construct a composite unit with the desired capability. This chapter first introduces related work in the area of service-oriented computing and then presents the capability comparison and composition based on the environment model reasoning.
