System Capability Refinement
Abstract
This chapter discusses scenario-based capability projection to refine complex capability. Using concepts from the problem frames approach and extending it with scenarios, a conceptual model is developed for a scenario-extended problem description. The proposed conceptual modeling process provides details about the problem description process. Finally, a formal treatment of a scenario-based projection is provided with the problem frames and illustrates the rigor of the approach with a case study.
