CHAPTER 12: CONDUCTING DPIAs

It is important to recognise the very real benefits of conducting a DPIA, and they are not just limited to complying with the law. A DPIA builds trust. You can publish the results of a DPIA in order to show both that your organisation is keeping personal data secure and that you have taken a rigorous approach to ensuring this. In doing so, you will also demonstrate your commitment to transparent processing.

Consistently using DPIAs raises awareness of your compliance with the Regulation.
