I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER 16: TRANSITIONING AND DEMONSTRATING COMPLIANCE
Organisations that already had processes in place to manage compliance with previous data protection and privacy laws will need to make adjustments to ensure they are complying with the new requirements.
Assuming your current compliance programme is aligned with the DPD, it should be relatively straightforward to compare your established requirements against those of the GDPR. You should seek legal advice to ensure that you get a clear overview of what changes are appropriate to your specific circumstances.
If you already have a privacy compliance framework, transition may be somewhat simpler than it will be for organisations that are managing DPD compliance on a more ad hoc basis. However, ...
