Part 3
You have come so far along your journey to visualization nirvana. In this last part of the book, we’re going to apply everything you’ve learned to a fictional case study wherein you’ve been hired by a (small) client to build a dashboard from scratch. After the case study, we’ll go over some scrapes in which you might find yourself in the future and how to get yourself out of them.
Chapter 8 contains the case study, where we’ll go over the three main phases of the end-to-end visualization process: research and planning, design, and development. Finally in chapter 9, we’ll talk about troubleshooting things like difficult clients and missing data.
