Chapter 2. Secure resources
This chapter covers topics on managed identity; specifically, using an external identity provider that manages identities as well as handles authentication requests for you. Then, the discussion moves on to how to make data secure in the cloud. You’ll cover a number of techniques and services to ensure that data storages are reliable and available, and you’ll be briefly introduced to Microsoft Azure backup and disaster recovery solutions, before they are fully covered in Chapter 6. Finally, you’ll learn how Azure Directory assists system administrators to design, develop, and reinforce effective security policies across large enterprises.
