VMSTAT
Vmstat is a command line tool. It dumps system information to the standard
output. You invoke it by typing
vmstat on the command line. With two parameters
you can control vmstat. The first is the delay between updates, and the second is
the count of updates. In Example D-1 vmstat is run five times at intervals of ten
seconds.
