I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 11. Using apps for Office with Access
Apps for Office have been available for use for with Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Outlook, but it is only with Office 2013 Service Pack 1 and Office 365 that these features are now available for use with Access web apps.
An app for Office that is tailored to Access can be used only in the web app environment and not in a desktop database. In this chapter, I will continue to refer to the applications discussed in earlier chapters as web apps, meaning a web app created with Access, and I will refer to an app for Office, which is suitable for use in Access, as an app for Access.
