About the Contributor
Julia A. Scott CA, CFA, MBA teaches accounting and financial statement analysis courses in the B Com program, the MBA program, and the Graduate Program in Accounting for students pursuing their CA designation at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University. She has been teaching for more than 20 years at the university level both at McGill and previously at Bishop's University. Julia is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at The University of Western Ontario and the Schulich School of Business at York University. An active member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute, Julia consults and develops materials for CFA candidate preparation programs. Julia has authored numerous supplements to accounting textbooks and has been involved in grading professional exams for both the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants and the CFA Institute.
