I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Places to make a living with audio or music
There are a tremendous number of outlets and tangents in order to make money in the music industry. There are more tangents than you would believe at first.
You can be a synthesizer sound designer and engineer who actually makes the patches in a keyboard. The same type of job can be for new plugins and virtual instruments that are coded by sound designers. Any retail item that sells in stores has a history of sound, and you can work for these companies or create your own brand of products. These include guitars, amplifiers, keyboards, headphones, speakers, guitar FX pedals, DJ equipment, virtual effects and instruments, and any type of APP.
