Summary

That's it for the introduction to our Crime Map project. We discussed how to install a MySQL database on our VPS and how to hook it up to Flask. We looked at creating, reading, updating, and deleting data, and we created a basic database web application that can accept user input and display it back again. We finished off by looking at the SQL injection vulnerability and how to protect ourselves against it.

Next up, we'll add a Google Maps widget and some better aesthetics.
