4 Subject of analysis, corpus, and annotation scheme
4.1 Introduction
In this chapter, I will discuss the methodology adopted in this book. First, I will provide a detailed definition of the object of analysis and the parameters used to define the structure of the CCs included in this research (4.2). In 4.3, I will describe the design principles of the study by introducing the KIP Corpus of spoken Italian, which is hosted in the KIParla resource. In 4.4, I will present the annotation scheme. Finally, I will conclude the chapter by referring to the annotation software used to compile the annotations.
