In an Advanced Course that I teach, the latter half of the semester is used strictly for the revision of projects sketched as quick, weekly drafts during the first eight weeks. I begin the class with a reading and discussion of the Cult of Done Manifesto by Bre Pettis and Kio Stark [1]. The manifesto speaks to procrastinators and finishers, though much is lost on the concept of revision. While some of the 13 lines espouse great advice (Line 8 comes to mind: “Laugh at perfection.
