Breadboarding

In this chapter we will take a step back from where we ended up in Chapter 2 and look in greater detail at using the solderless breadboard to prototype our electronic inventions.

Electronics is a large and complex discipline; however, in this book, we can at least get you started and point you in the right direction by looking at some of the basics. I will do all I can to introduce this with minimal mathematics and jargon. Electronics engineering as a discipline makes great use of mathematics to model what is going on. This is all fine and good if you have three or four years to study the subject, but is somewhat off-putting if you just have a simple idea that you want to realize.
