Navigating the Timeline
By this point, you’ve probably figured out some of the ways to move around in the Timeline. Being able to quickly get to any point in your Timeline is critical to efficient editing. Final Cut Pro X gives you that power through a series of keyboard shortcuts and buttons that speed up your workflow.
Zooming and Scrolling in the Timeline
Depending on the duration of your show, you may need to do a lot of horizontal navigation in the Timeline. Perhaps it’s to zoom in to precisely control an edit point or to scroll through a long Timeline for an in-depth story.
