When developing a web application, you should think about the architecture you want to use.

The architecture of web applications, or of software in general, is about how you want to break down an application into smaller components and how to organize their interaction. In this chapter, I’ll provide an overview of the major architectures that play a role in the context of web applications. Of course, entire books can be written on the subject of architecture, and not for nothing, even a separate job description exists for software architects.
