I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The disadvantages of immutability
Nothing in the world comes only with advantages.
There's a great proverb: everything comes at its own price.
The only thing you can hear against immutability is that you need to create a new object every time you want to modify it. That's true in some scenarios, especially where you're working with large sets of objects. However, when you are working with small datasets or objects, it doesn't have any effect.
