We saw in Chapter 2 that recruiting a diverse workforce isn’t just socially responsible. Given the rise in minority, older worker, and women candidates, it’s a necessity. Consultants McKinsey and Company found that employers it surveyed that had gender diversity outperformed those that did not by 15%. 126
