Wait a minute! There is a problem with problems. The problem with problems is that if you view your job, consciously or unconsciously, as finding and solving problems you are living outside-in. Someone else is driving your agenda. In this mode, you are in a reactive frame of mind, responding to issues that others have created.

Problem response is not all bad. Clearly, we have to deal with obstacles to what we want. And some problems are potentially lethal. Being able to sort out, to see, the difference between small problems and big problems is important. But how does one make those judgments?
