In many cases, the process of decision making either by necessity or by custom is done by a group of people as a whole. And in other cases, the production of a good or completion of some other project requires that it be done by a group of people who share the overall effort. Because the choices and behaviors of members of a group are inherently interrelated, game theory can shed some light on some of the problems and solutions related to working in committees or teams.
