So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Abstract
This chapter describes the ethical considerations and societal implications of developing and using Generative AI technologies such as ChatGPT, DALL-E, and similar platforms in today’s society. These advanced AI systems enable users to create various kinds of content such as images, text, sounds, and more with the advantage of innovative capabilities of Generative AI. The advantages of these technologies are assistance in coding, generating blog and website content, and creating novel graphics in response to user prompts. Although there are significant benefits in using Generative AI, there are also substantial challenges and concerns for society in using Generative AI technologies. In this book chapter, we discuss about the disadvantages and challenges of using and developing Generative AI. The first section of the chapter gives a summary of Generative AI and the Deep Learning techniques that help in creating Generative AI technologies.
