I’ve decided that I’d rather have a dragon that isn’t green. I could go back in and repaint it, but there should be a quicker way of doing this. My first thought was to use the Projection Master button located in the upper left-hand corner and its set of 2.5D brushes. I could create a color texture map of the dragon’s current paint job, take that into my image editing program, and hue shift it to a new color. Then I could just import it back into ZBrush and apply it to my model. Unfortunately, when I generated the color map using the UVs I had already created I got a lot of nasty black spots. The black spots were caused by UV fluctuation – which is to say, the UVs on the object were shifting around ever so slightly. ...
