Now we’ve come to the final stage of putting our image together. Compositing an image from rendered layers is an extremely powerful technique that gives the artist a lot of control over the finished product.
Open all the image files that you rendered out in the last chapter in Photoshop (or another image editor such as GIMP – GNU Image Manipulation Program, www.gimp.org). You should have one render that is just the color image created by using the Flat Color material on your objects. This is one we want on the bottom of our compositing stack, so select this image now. Save this image as a new name, “Final_Composite_v01.PSD”.
