Transport Layer Security setups for z/OS LDAP server
In this appendix, we describe and provide examples of implementing Transport Layer Security (TLS) for secure communication between z/OS LDAP server and the Hyper Protect Data Controller solution.
For our testing purposes, we describe creating and using our own self-signed Certificate Authority (CA) by using OpenSSL. The CA is used to sign certificates for various servers.
The instructions that are provided in this appendix are simple examples that are intended to be used as a guide.
