“The 4 P’s of Marketing: Please, Please, Please, Please.”
I chuckle when I see this quote from Shreyas Navare. Everyone who has studied marketing in the past 50 years has been introduced to the 4 P’s of marketing. In 1960,2 E. Jerome McCarthy, an American marketing professor and the author of the influential book Basic Marketing: A Managerial Approach, presented the four elements of marketing, which have served as the basis of marketing for the past century. These fourelements are Product, Price, Place and Promotion.
