This part will look at the standard Go libraries in a summary fashion. It is intended to get you aware of and familiar with the libraries and what they can do, not to detail their use. Not all types and functions in each library will be mentioned, only some more generally useful (a somewhat opinionated selection) ones will be. Many functions are self-explanatory (their names essentially imply their function) and thus may not be further described. For other functions, only a brief description will be given. Some types and/or functions will include examples.
