Working in the Styles Window
In SketchUp a style defines the look of face styles, edge styles, and backgrounds. The Styles window (Window → Styles) puts you at the artist's drawing board. You apply a style to your model by clicking one of the styles in the window (see Figure 6-26). By applying different styles, you give your model dramatically different looks. The Styles window also gives you tools to organize styles into collections. For example, if you work with teams of other SketchUp artists, you may want to collect all the styles used on a project into a single collection. When someone on the team develops a new style, he can store it in the collection where everyone has access to it.

Note
In previous versions of SketchUp, style collections were called libraries. In SketchUp 7's menus, they're called collections. In Google's documentation, you may still see them referred to as libraries.
