So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
8Implementierung mit Java I: Das erste Schema
In Kapitel 8 und 9 wird ein GraphQL-Server mit Java erzeugt. Dafür wird die Serverimplementierung GraphQL Java [28] verwendet. Dessen Basis ist die GraphQL Java Engine [27]. Da diese sich jedoch nur mit dem Definieren und Auflösen des GraphQL-Schemas beschäftigt, muss der Stack für die Serverfunktionalität noch um eine Abhängigkeit erweitert werden.
Hierfür wird der GraphQL-Spring-Boot-Adapter [29] und somit das Framework Spring Boot verwendet. Das hilft dabei, mit minimaler Konfiguration einen lauffähigen Java-Service aufzubauen.
