I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In den bisherigen Kapiteln haben wir uns schon mit verschiedenen Möglichkeiten beschäftigt, Nachrichten so zu manipulieren, dass der Inhalt für einen unbefugten Lauscher nicht zu identifizieren ist. Der sicherste Weg hierzu ist die Kryptografie, also die Verschlüsselung der Nachrichten. Ein weiterer Ansatz, um Informationen vertraulich zu übermitteln, ist der Covert Channel. Wir haben dieses Thema bereits in Kapitel 12 Mit Malware das System übernehmen beschrieben. Hier wird ein »Overt Channel«, also ein erlaubter Kommunikationskanal, so manipuliert, dass innerhalb der erlaubten Kommunikation die verdeckten Nachrichten übermittelt werden.
