I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Windows
Windows system-wide proxy settings can be applied via Internet options | Connections | LAN settings. This setting can also be applied using the netsh commands, as shown in the following steps:
- Start cmd as administrator
- Run netsh winhttp set proxy 127.0.0.1:8080
- To check if the settings have been applied, run the following command:
netsh winhttp show proxy
- To reset the proxy, run:
netsh winhttp show proxy
