So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Desired state
When speaking about Puppet and provisioning, you will hear about the desired state. In terms of Puppet, it simply means that the node/server has been completely provisioned and is now in the correct state. The software and services have been installed and are running correctly.
