When considering the correct exposure for a particular scene the following factors must be taken into consideration:

• Exposure Time (shutter angle and camera speed)
• Film Speed (El)
• Lens Aperture (T Stop)
• Subject Factors (the reflectance ratio of the most important picture areas, lighting intensity and contrast, scene luminance range etc.).
