Basic CRUD Microservices

Our previous chapters are proof that microservices development is not just about implementation. You need to at least have a clear understanding of the pros and cons of using microservices compared with other approaches we looked at in the previous chapters – monolith and service-oriented – and you need to have an essential understanding of the technologies you want to apply when building microservices.

Applying all theoretical knowledge you have in practice is also not an easy task. This chapter will help us to apply microservices in practice and is one step forward to real-world microservices implementation. In this chapter, we plan to provide a solid foundation for further practical chapters.
