PostgreSQL >9.2 has a prominent feature called JSONStore. PostgreSQL introduced two new data types for 9.2">storing JSON data. PostgreSQL allows users to insert JSON data as a json field or a jsonb field. It is quite useful for modeling real-world data that has to be more flexible in its structure.
