The Primary Healthcare Continuum (P-HCC)

P-HCC Definition

The first level of analysis is based on the primary healthcare continuum (P-HCC). P-HCC analysis identifies the parties that provide direct or indirect healthcare services, how they work together, and the information shared. The recognition of white-collar and organized crime is to ensure necessary security and internal controls to thwart behaviors related to waste, fraud, and abuse. Recognition of this subculture is incorporated into this model. The details of each market player have been discussed in detail in the preceding chapter. The components are highlighted again in Exhibit 3.1.
