STRONG, SUSTAINED INVESTMENT performance by a fund of funds is often associated with a well-run business operation. This chapter examines the fund of funds management company as the foundation upon which the fund of funds' portfolio and risk management process is built. The questions discussed are taken from the Alternative Investment Management Association's (AIMA's) Illustrative Questionnaire for Due Diligence of Fund of Funds Managers. (See Appendix A.)
