The projects in this book vary in size, type and location. They only have two things in common. They are all domestic projects, that is they are people’s homes, and they have all been designed by architects. Indeed, they have all been designed by Chartered Practices, accredited by the RIBA (the Royal Institute of British Architects; see page 155 for the criteria for becoming a Chartered Practice).
