I know I used the phrase “like a boss” in the title here, and although I still use that phrase today, don’t go by me, because I also still regularly use phrases like “Whoop, there it is,” and “Who let the dogs out?” along with “Better safe than sorry,” “Whoops-a-daisy,” and “What you talkin’ ‘bout Willis?” So, clearly, I am “hip with the kids.” It just didn’t seem to me that “like a boss” was that old, but I just looked it up and that phrase started trending on Twitter back in 2009.
