Health care organizational development is defined as a comprehensive strategy dedicated to the growth and development of the organization as a total entity, and to the personal and professional growth of each and every employee—and thus is a mainstay accountability of health care human resources management. The human resources team of a progressive health care organization must take a leading role in innovating and implementing a successful organizational development strategy, replete with programs that are realistic, resonant, and results oriented.
